How did Ankang, a post-95s female student, achieve her goals of earning 50000 to 80000 yuan per month through live streaming in college, establishing a studio, and starting a cultural and media company upon graduation? Recently, a reporter from Huashang Daily contacted this post-95s girl – Fu Shishi, and let’s learn about her entrepreneurial story together.
Fu Shishi, from Ankang, Shaanxi, is 25 years old. He has loved singing and dancing since childhood. In middle school, with the support of his parents, he began practicing piano and vocal music, and eventually achieved excellent grades before being admitted to university. After entering university, Fu Shishi knew that she had unique advantages compared to other classmates, such as having good literary and artistic talents. She participated in many cultural activities organized by the school and was selected as the lead singer of the school band for her outstanding performance.
Why do we engage in live streaming and this industry? That was in my sophomore year, when my pet dog had contracted canine distemper and needed treatment, which required several thousand yuan in expenses. However, my monthly living expenses were also limited, and I was too embarrassed to ask my parents for money. Out of a sense of responsibility and reluctance, I borrowed several thousand yuan from my classmates to treat my dog, “Fu Shishi recalled.
Afterwards, in order to repay the money, I worked as a resident singer, performed etiquette, and even tried live streaming. I did many things that I had never tried before, which had a great impact on me. Since then, my attitude towards making money has changed, and I hope to achieve financial independence through my own efforts to support my sense of responsibility. So I put my heart into doing one thing, which is live streaming.
During the live streaming process, in addition to earning considerable income, Fu Shishi gradually discovered that the laughter, warmth, and warmth of the people during the live streaming gave her a deeper understanding of this job, and thus became even more fond of it. So, from the beginning when no one paid attention to her monthly income of one or two thousand, to later when her live streaming room became popular and her monthly income exceeded 50000 to 80000, she was still a sophomore student at that time.
With a deeper understanding of the live streaming industry, Fu Shishi discovered that it should not be a retreat, but a trend bestowed upon us by the times. At present, although the live streaming industry has not yet flourished, it will definitely be a major trend in the future. Therefore, in his junior year, Fu Shishi established his own studio and spent more time engaged in the live streaming industry.
After graduating in 2019, compared to other classmates who were still searching for jobs in the vast sea of people, Fu Shishi has three years of experience in new media operations and has the idea of starting a business. After returning home, Fu Shishi discussed this matter with her parents, but they did not want her to engage in such a short-term profitable industry. After unsuccessful negotiations, Fu Shishi founded Shaanxi Miaoling Cultural Media Co., Ltd. against her parents’ opposition. The company’s main business includes live streaming guilds, short video incubation, and offline advertising performances in e-commerce. Fu Shishi told reporters, “My original intention was to help more young people in my hometown grasp the trend of this era and seize the opportunities it has given us. And I have also transformed from a college student who combines dreams and life into an entrepreneur
In this way, with the efforts of Fu Shici, three years have passed. The headquarters of Miaoling Culture Media Co., Ltd., founded by her, is located in Ankang, with operation centers in Xi’an and Guangzhou. Currently, there are about 80 employees. She also used her own actions to tell her parents that in fact, every industry can be deeply cultivated, and through personal cultivation, it can extend its industrial chain and continuously develop and improve itself.
Speaking of her understanding of the live streaming industry, Fu Shishi joked, “Actually, the live streaming industry should not be a retreat for us young people, but our pursuit. We should seize the business opportunities that the times have given us
In fact, after more than three years of entrepreneurship, it has also brought me many challenges. For example, in terms of self drive, Ankang is a small city and there are many companies in this industry. We should have strong self drive and constantly drive ourselves, and cannot be satisfied with the current market situation. Secondly, in terms of talent, any enterprise needs to grow and develop, and absorb and integrate more and more talents. “When talking about the problems faced by entrepreneurship, Fu Shici said.
When it comes to entrepreneurial experience, “I think you need to be prepared for anything, lay a solid professional foundation, and then invest and start a business. Secondly, be prepared to deal with any problems and adjust your mindset,” said Fu Shishi.
Regarding the next steps, Fu Shishi confidently said, “The next step is to combine the company’s live broadcast guild, short video incubation, and e-commerce sales to achieve local assistance to farmers, and also hope to build a platform for more people to find employment. The company will quickly occupy the Ankang market and strive to become a leader in Shaanxi
Some people’s success lies not only in choosing the right industry, but also in their perseverance and diligence. In the eyes of others, Fu Shi’s journey has been smooth, but only she knows how many times she has cried on deserted nights. In order to start her own business, she sacrificed the time she should have spent with her parents and family on outings, eating, drinking, and having fun with friends. Now, she is personally involved in all aspects of the company. In the face of this, Fu Shishi told reporters, “Live streaming has actually shaped me, from income and quality of life to interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and speech. Most importantly, my ability to handle pressure has been improved. I have indeed devoted all my time to work, but if I choose this path, I will persevere
