Jia Yuhao, 35 years old, was born into an ordinary farming family in Jiajia Natural Village, Hexidong Administrative Village, Zhangwan Town, Dingtao District. His father Jia Hongxun, who came from a woodworking background, started his career by making bamboo beds and invested over 800000 yuan to establish a furniture factory at the village head in 2004, producing traditional furniture such as wooden beds, wardrobes, sand hair, tables, and dining tables.
In order to expand and strengthen his father’s furniture manufacturing industry, Jia Yuhao came to work at a large furniture manufacturing enterprise in Henan Province in 2008, learning advanced production technology. There, Jia Yuhao not only learned the management experience of modern enterprises, but also mastered the production technology of using electronic cutting saws, edge banding machines, drilling machines, carving machines and other machines to produce contemporary furniture. He went from an apprentice to a senior executive position, laying a solid foundation for him to return home and start a modern wood processing enterprise.
After returning home, Jia Yuhao first helped at his father’s furniture factory. Over time, Jia Yuhao realized that it was difficult to achieve large-scale and modern production with old factories and facilities.
In 2016, with strong support from the Zhangwan Town Party Committee and Government, Jia Yuhao founded Hongxun Furniture Co., Ltd., purchased over 30 machines, recruited more than 100 workers, and produced customized products for the entire house.
Due to the advanced production technology of Jia Yuhao’s company, the whole house customized products such as sofas, beds, TV cabinets, etc. can be customized according to customer requirements. Once launched, they were immediately welcomed by some young customers in the surrounding counties and districts, and customers who came to order furniture came in a continuous stream.
In order to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of employees for production and operation, Jia Yuhao has formulated a scientific and reasonable enterprise goal and reward system. When employees exceed their work tasks, he promptly fulfills the promised rewards and compensation. It is precisely with the golden signboard of honesty that Jia Yuhao founded Hongxun Furniture Company, like a snowball, grew bigger and bigger, quickly becoming the largest furniture factory in the town. He was also elected as a representative of the Dingtao District People’s Congress.
In 2021, Jia Yuhao took the initiative to participate in the Hope Hut project in Dingtao District, and specially designed a set of high-quality, innovative, and environmentally friendly furniture that meets the requirements of the Hope Hut, offering his love to the disadvantaged children in Dingtao District.
During the epidemic prevention and control period in Dingtao District in 2022, Jia Yuhao actively led outstanding young people in the village to participate in volunteer activities, stationed at the village entrance, disinfected the factory comprehensively, promoted home measures, and actively responded to the government’s call to donate anti epidemic materials, contributing his own strength to epidemic prevention and control. After the epidemic stabilized, he took the initiative to drive workers to resume work, promote the development of the township economy, and increase the income of township personnel.
Due to outstanding achievements, Jia Yuhao was awarded the title of “Rural Good Youth” at the provincial level in Shandong Province in June 2020.
